‘One Nation, One Election’ Panel Invites Public Suggestions

The ‘One Nation, One Election’ committee, led by ex-president Ram Nath Kovind, has invited public input to modify the current legal framework for synchronized elections in India. In a notification, the committee urged suggestions through its website or email by January 15, assuring consideration. Formed in September, the committee previously approached political parties for their perspectives on a mutually agreed date for simultaneous polls.
