Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly considering a return to the NDA, meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda. Talks revolve around potential alliances for upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls. While both parties are open to collaboration, the final decision hinges on reaching a favourable seat-sharing agreement.
Further discussions are expected between Naidu and Shah, with Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan likely to participate. The meeting aims to solidify the seat-sharing formula among TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena.
TDP, formerly part of the NDA, exited in 2018 under Naidu’s leadership. Leaders stress the need for swift alliance formation to avoid confusion among party members and supporters, especially as elections draw near.

Previously allied with the NDA, Jana Sena has aligned with TDP and encourages BJP’s inclusion. Naidu’s previous meetings with Shah and Nadda fueled speculation of an impending alliance.
Meanwhile, speculations arise regarding a BJP-Biju Janata Dal alliance in Odisha, as senior leaders from both parties hint at collaboration. With Andhra Pradesh holding 25 Lok Sabha and 175 Assembly seats, BJP aims to contest eight to ten parliamentary constituencies.
