The Janata Dal (Secular) plans to compete for three seats in Karnataka during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aligning with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), according to JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna. He expressed confidence in the collaborative efforts of the BJP and JD(S) to advance Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental agenda in Karnataka. Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister and JD(S) leader HD Deve Gowda, is expected to contest from his current constituency, Hassan, representing the joint BJP-JD(S) alliance. Although the party has not yet formally announced its candidate list.
