Karnataka Initiates Statewide Water Testing Due To Cholera

Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar, announced plans to conduct widespread water testing across the state, including Bengaluru, to combat waterborne diseases following reported cholera cases. One fatality and numerous illnesses resulted from consuming tainted water. Officials have been directed to execute testing, addressing concerns about drinking water contamination spurred by recent rainfall.
