SC Denies Directing EC On Publishing Booth-Wise Voter Turnout

On Friday, the Supreme Court declined to instruct the Election Commission of India (ECI) to disclose booth-wise voter turnout figures and upload Form 17C copies within 48 hours of polling, citing the ongoing elections. The hearing on related pleas was adjourned, pending a summer recess, to be listed later before the appropriate bench.
