Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu, on Thursday for a 45-hour meditation session at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Following the conclusion of the Lok Sabha election campaign, Modi will meditate from May 30 to June 1 at Dhyan Mandapam, where Swami Vivekananda once meditated. He will also visit the Bhagavathi Amman temple before starting his meditation. Modi has a tradition of spiritual retreats post-campaigns, having visited Kedarnath in 2019 and Pratapgarh in 2014.
