Karnataka Minister Steps Down Amid Accusations Of Illegal Fund Transfer

Karnataka’s ST Welfare Minister B Nagendra resigned following his implication in an illicit money transfer case, which surfaced after the suicide of a state government employee in Shivamogga. Chandrashekharan P, an accounts superintendent, left a note revealing the unauthorized transfer of Rs 187 crore from the corporation’s account, implicating his superiors and the Minister.
