On Monday, Lt Gen Devendra Sharma assumed command as the 25th General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Army Training Command (ARTRAC) in Shimla. A graduate of Mayo College, Ajmer, NDA, and IMA, he received the prestigious ‘Sword of Honour’ and was commissioned into ‘The Scinde Horse’ on December 19, 1987. His distinguished career includes significant roles in sensitive operational sectors, counter-terrorism, and high-altitude terrains over nearly four decades.
