Hathras Stampede: Centre, State Declare ₹ 2 Lakh Each For Victim’s Families

UP Minister Sandeep Singh announced on Friday that both the central and state governments have pledged ₹ 2 lakhs each for families affected by the Hathras stampede. This followed a visit by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to meet with the victims’ families. Singh stated that the compensation transfer process has commenced and assured further assistance from the BJP.
