After the guard of honour, they engaged in delegation-level discussions. Modi, concluding his engagements in Russia, made history as the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Austria in 41 years, welcomed warmly by Indian community members and Austrian officials, with a performance of ‘Vande Mataram’ by an Austrian choir under Indian conductor Vijay Upadhyay.
