‘Lacking Merit, Ethics’: Shiv Sena MP On Puja Khedkar Row

Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora of the Mumbai South constituency took to X yesterday to express his displeasure over the Puja Khedkar row, calling it a “serious reputational hazard to the service”. “I urge Maharashtra’s Chief Secretary to conduct a comprehensive & impartial investigation into these allegations”, Deora wrote. He added that those lacking “merit & ethics” are not fit to hold important public offices.

The Supreme Court has announced today that matters concerning the NEET-UG exam have been deferred to the 18th of July. The court has directed to NTA to disclose all details pertaining to “nature of leak, places where the leak took place, and the lag of time between leak and conduct of the exam,”. Recently on Wednesday, the Centre told the SC that the data analytics of the NEET-UG examination revealed “no abnormality” or “indication of mass malpractice”.
