Top leaders of the BJP from Uttar Pradesh – including CM Yogi Adityanath, Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya – met in Lucknow today to discuss and review the party’s performance in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Party President JP Nadda was present too. The saffron party won 33 seats in the state, down from 63 in 2019. A strategy for the 2027 Assembly polls is also likely to be discussed in the meeting.
