Lalu Prasad, Tejashwi, Tej Pratab Yadav Get Bail In Land-For-Jobs Case

On Monday, Special Judge Vishal Gogne granted bail to Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each, noting that they were not arrested during the investigation, reported news agency PTI. The matter will be heard next on October 25, reported Bar & Bench.

In a relief to former Bihar CM Lalu Yadav and his sons Tejaswi and Tej Pratap Yadav, The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi on Monday granted them bail in an alleged money laundering case linked to the land-for-jobs scam, according to an Indian Express report.

The case pertains to allegations that the then Union railway minister, Lalu Yadav, between 2004 and 2009, took land from job aspirants in return for employment within the railway ministry, contravening the recruitment procedures.
