Following a Khalistani mob attack on worshipers during the Diwali weekend, the priest who spoke at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton, Canada, urging Hindus to stick together was suspended. Two days later, though, he was reinstated by the temple organization following a review.
The priest, identified as Rajinder Parsad, has warned his community members, “Batoge to Katoge.”
“Hindus need to be united in Canada… If you stay united, you will be saved,” the priest Rajinder Parsad said in a viral video on social media.
President of the Brampton temple, Madhusudan Lama, said, “The Hindu Sabha did not authorize or permit Priest Rajinder Parsad to engage in the activities which recently occurred. The Hindu Sabha had no prior knowledge of his involvement in these activities. Based on preliminary input, Priest Rajinder Parsad was suspended,”. “As a result of further review, we have now reinstated Priest Rajinder Parsad to his duties and responsibilities at Hindu Sabha,”
On November 5, the Hindu Sabha temple suspended priest Rajinder Prasad two days after his speech.
