PM Narendra Modi To Address Rally Today At Mumbai Shivaji Park

On Thursday, November 14, ahead of the Maharashtra assembly election 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally in Mumbaiโ€™s Shivaji Park. The rally is part of the ruling Mahayuti allianceโ€™s final push ahead of Maharashtraโ€™s assembly election on November 20. Mumbai Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the day amid tight security.

โ€œBharatiya Janata Party is going to organise a โ€˜Public Meetingโ€™ on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Shivaji Park, Dadar (West), Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, many supporters and party followers from all over Maharashtra are likely to participate in the public rally, informed Mumbai Traffic Police.โ€ Mumbai Police stated on X.

Bhubaneswar| A private bus carrying more than 70 migrant workers overturned in Odisha on Saturday evening killing at least one person and injuring 40 others.

The incident took place in Kalinga Ghati of Odishaโ€™s Kandhamal district.

Belonging to Odishaโ€™s Ganjam district, the migrant workers were returning from Gujaratโ€™s Surat.

Police, ambulance and fire service officials reached the spot from G Udayagiri, Phulbani and Raikia and carried out the rescue operation.

The police said: โ€œwhile crossing the Kalinga Ghati on the Ganjam-Kandhamal border, the vehicle hit a roadside guard wall.โ€

Satyabrata Bhoi, DIG (Southern Range) informed that one person was killed while another was critically injured in the incident.

3 new COVID-19 cases were recorded as of 8:00 AM on May 3 in Odisha, as per the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

This brings the total recorded cases of the novel coronavirus in the state to 157. Including 56 who have recovered and one has passed away.

The total cases in India surged to 39,980 as of May 3.
