Agra| Citing non-repayment of EMI over a loan, employees of a finance firm reportedly hijacked a passenger bus from the Uttar Pradesh’s Agra. The employees kicked out the driver and the helper, seizing control over the bus that was plying from Gurugram to Gwalior.
The finance company had illegally seized the bus, the statement from Uttar Pradesh government has said. The driver, staff, and passengers are safe. The owner of the bus died yesterday and his son is doing last rites, said the government.
“Three people from Gwalior filed a complaint today that the bus they were traveling in from Gurgaon to Panna was overtaken & seized by members of a finance company, that apparently financed the bus. A case is being registered, we’re investigating the matter,” Agra SSP Bablu Kumar said.
