New Delhi| A sub-inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRFP) allegedly shot dead his senior on Saturday, after which he went on to kill himself in the Lodhi Estate area of the national capital, officials informed. This incident took place around 10:30 PM on Friday at 61, Lodhi Estate, a bungalow allotted to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), as per the officials.

The Inspector was from Rohtak in Haryana whereas the SI hailed from Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior officials of the paramilitary force and local police reached the spot soon after the alleged incident.
The officials also said that an inquiry is being conducted to ascertain the reason behind the incident.
