18 policeman suspended after a murder accused shot dead inside court in UP

The three males whom took away pistols in the courtroom and shot the prisoner had been chased and arrested by policeman current in the judge

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor the eighteen policemen have now been suspended every single day after a murder accused was shot lifeless inside a courtroom. The guy accused of killing two different people had been shot lifeless by three males in the judge. A policeman and a court staff was send to medical center.

The firing took place as the prisoner, Shanawaz Ansari, had been manufactured in front side associated with Chief Judicial Magistrate at Bijnor area judge. The three males whom took away pistols in the courtroom and shot the prisoner had been chased and arrested by policeman current in the judge.

Local reports and the advocate present said that the entire courtroom dove in fear the moment the firing was heard. The court premises was also close off following the incident.

The three attackers have been arrested including Sahil, son of BSP MLA Ehsaan Ansari who was murdered, along with his nephew, by Shahnawaz over an argument on purchase of disputed properties. The police said, was not politically motivated but a business rivalry instead.

Atul Sisodia, an advocate, said who was inside the court said everyone moved to the floor as soon as bullets were shoot.

He said “I was inside the court. A client of mine had a bail application. Suddenly three men stared shooting. We ducked for cover. I saw one man fall to the ground. I even saw a policeman take a bullet. We just took a dive to the floor and stayed there till the cops rescued us. I think the incidence was very filmy,” said advocate Atul Sisodia.

Shahnawaz Ansari was accused in the double murder of Bahujan Samaj Party politician Haji Ahsan Khan and his nephew in month of May.

Haji Ahsan, 50, and his nephew were shot dead on May 29 by two men at their office in Bijnor’s Najibabad town. Ahsan was in charge of the Bahujan Samaj Party’s Najibabad assembly seat and his nephew was a party worker too. Later the local police said the killings were not politically motivated but over a business rivalry.
