32 migrants labourers injured after the bus they were travelling in overturned in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal on Sunday morning.
Jalpaiguri| At least 15 migrant workers were injured after the bus in which they were travelling to reach home during the national lockdown met with an accident in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal.
On Sunday morning, the bus carrying migrant workers overturned in Dhupguri block of Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal. As per the inputs, the driver of the bus is absconding.
All the migrant labourers worked in a brick factory in Sahudangi and were going to Cooch Behar district in West Bengal when the accident happened.
“32 migrants labourers injured after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Dhupguri in Jalpaiguri district today morning. All injured were taken to Jalpaiguri district hospital and released after preliminary treatment,” an official said.

The ones who have sustained injuries include three children and four women. All of them have been admitted to a hospital in Dhupguri.
On Saturday, 24 migrants workers were killed and 37 found injured in an accident in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district.
The ASP informed that at least 24 people died on the scene and 22 were referred to the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences in Saifai, Etawah.
