While supporting the Kashmiris’ right to hold peaceful protests, the US Department condemns the actions of terrorists who undermine dialogue by using violence and fear amongst the locals. The lawmakers used strong words for Pakistan’s constant support for terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Pakistan is not sharing its responsibility and should be held accountable for their non-actions on terror. A direct dialogue between India-Pakistan will help to resolve this situation they said.
The group of lawmakers also shown their fret on the state but has also reminded India’s Commitment to Human rights. US President Trump many times try to mediate between both the countries but India always stood by the choice stating its an Internal issue.
