New Delhi : Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MP Nama Nageswara Rao has given adjournment notice in Lok Sabha, to discuss the issue of “National policy on food-grain procurement and legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price(MSP). Today is the fourth session of Lok Sabha.
Rao’s Letter to General Secretary of Lok Sabha
Nama Nageswara Rao in his letter to the Secretary-General of Lok Sabha said, “I hereby give notice of my intention to ask for leave to move a motion for the adjournment of the Business of the House to discuss a definite matter of urgent importance of “national policy on food-grain procurement food-grain guarantee for minimum support price to farmers”.
Farm Law Repeal Bill, 2021′ already passed on the first day of the winter session. Furthermore, Rakesh Tikait leader of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) demanding discussion on their demands including that for MSP. Until any discussion, the protest will be continued.
12 MPs got suspended
On the very first day, 12 Rajya Sabha members got suspended. And the 6 were from Congress. Due to their misconduct and unruly behaviour. The suspended Rajya Sabha MPs sat on a protest in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in Parliament premises.
But amid all unrest in parliament Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulation bill was also passed.
