Chinna Dua is survived by Vinod Dua and her daughters Mallika Dua, an actor and a comedian, and Bakul Dua, a clinical psychologist.
Radiologist Padmavati Dua, wife of senior journalist Vinod Dua breathed her last on Friday, 11 June, after a long battle against COVID. The 61-year-old, popularly known as Chinna Dua, was admitted to Gurugram’s Medanta hospital on 14 May along with Mr Dua.
Vinod dua, who recently recovered from the infection and was discharged on 7 June, confirmed the news on Facebook on Friday, saying, “Chinna no more.”
From 1992 to 2016, Mrs Dua worked as a radiologist at the Diwan Chand Aggarwal Imaging & Research Centre from 1992 to 2016. Chinna Dua is survived by Vinod Dua and her daughters Mallika Dua, an actor and a comedian, and Bakul Dua, a clinical psychologist.
Mrs Dua was also popular on social media platforms for her delicate saree collection. She featured often in her daughter Mallika Dua’s posts on social media.
