Yavatmal| In a shocking negligence In Kapsikopari village of Yavatmal district in Maharashtra, 12 children were given drop of sanitizer instead of polio drop. All children are under five years of age. They have been admitted to the district hospital after complaining of vomiting and discomfort. Their condition is stable. A team of doctors is monitoring them.
An inquiry has been ordered against a doctor at Bhanbora Primary Health Center, an Anganwadi worker and an ASHA worker in this case. Yavatmal’s social activist Kishore Tiwari has said that he will meet Health Minister Rajesh Tope and demand action against the culprits.
