Congress to emerge victorious in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh predicts ABP-CVoter survey

New Delhi | The Congress party might emerge victorious in the upcoming assembly election of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh asper the to the latest opinion poll conducted by ABP News- CVoter.

All the three states of the central India i.e Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chattisgarh are currently governed by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). And these elections are crucial for the political parties ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Rajasthan: In the state of Rajasthan, the survey conducted by ABP news-CVoter claims that the Congress party might get close to 130 seats while CM Vasundhara Raje led BJP will only be restricted to 57 seats while other will be getting 13 seats. The vote share of Congress is also set to increase to 50.8 from 33.1 percent. While BJP to observe a drop of around 9 percent from 45.2 to 36.8.

Madhya Pradesh: The Shivraj Singh Chauhan led BJP government in Madhya Pradesh is set to get restricted upto 106 seats compared to the Congress party which will get 117 seats in the 230 seats Madhya Pradesh assembly. The prediction stated that the BJP government will fail to achieve its earlier success of 165 seats in 2013 elections. Talking about the vote share, the Congress will increase its vote share to 41.7 percent from 36.4 percent while BJP to observe a downfall from 44.9 percent to 40.1 percent.

Chattisgarh: The Raman Singh government is also expected to face a similar fate like his fellow CM of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In the 90 members legislative assembly, the BJP is expected to achieve 33 seats while the Congress party to emerge victorious with 54 seats. In the assembly election of 2013, the Congress party just achieved 39 seats whereas the Raman Singh led BJP got 49 seats. Unlike other states, the assembly election of Chattisgarh won’t see a major difference in the Vote shares. BJP is assumed to get 38.8 percent share compared to its 41 percent share while Congress is projected to get 40 percent vote share in the upcoming election.

All the three states are currently governed by BJP Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan, Shivraj Singh Chauhan in Madhya Pradesh and Raman Singh in Chhattisgarh.
