Jet Airways To Start Flying Again After Being Grounded

The aviation authority, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, has given Jet Airways permission to resume commercial flights (DGCA). After completing two proving flights, the airline was issued an air operator certificate (AOC).

The aircraft must complete five landings (five flights) in order to complete its proving flights. On May 15 and 17, the airline successfully executed five proving flights with DGCA officials on board.

Jet Airways ceased operations in 2019 after its promoters failed to supply money, and the airline’s insolvency procedure began in June of that year.

Naresh Goyal owned the airline in its previous incarnation, and the last flight occurred on April 17, 2019. Jet Airways is now promoted by the Jalan-Kalrock Consortium.

The airline’s Committee of Creditors (CoC) adopted the resolution plan proposed by a consortium led by UK-based Kalrock Capital and UAE-based entrepreneur Murari Lal Jalan in October 2020.

The airline intends to resume commercial flights in the summer of this year, between July and September.

Tata IPL202 CSK VS RR-Can CSK Conclude Royally?

Shashank

“You are not defeated when you lose, you are defeated when you quit” this quote by Paulo coehelo very much defines the Chennai Super Kings. They might not have had an ideal season, Maybe they might come back stronger next year as they did in 2021 after their lackluster performance in 2020 however, they are surely not going to give up without a fight as they might hope for a double-digit in the points table before they conclude their campaign for the season.

Whereas Rajasthan Royals (currently third) are eyeing the second spot by slightly pushing Lucknow Super Giants at number 3.

RR enjoyed a decent season with the likes of Joss Buttler, who owns the orange cap, and Yuzvendra Chahal who is second in the list of most wickets with 24 wickets and is one wicket shy of standing first by surpassing Wanindu Hasranga who equals the number of wickets but has reached the number of wickets one match before the former.

A major plus point for the Royals is that middle-order batsman Shimron Hetmyer is probably going to make a comeback after his paternal leave.

Player to watch out for Matheesha Pathrana named baby Malinga by netzines for his bowling style. He successfully dismissed Shubhman Gill and GT skipper Hardik Pandya on his debut and got praised by his skipper M.s. Dhoni for his death bowling. It is interesting to watch if there is consistency or just cosmetic.

The two teams will lock horns for the first time this season.
