“In Maharashtra, the politics has reached high pitch over loudspeakers. MNS president Raj Thackeray has given an ultimatum till May 3 to take down the loudspeakers on the mosque or else MSN workers will play Hanuman Chalisa in front of it, While the state is on edge due to this ultimatum of Raj Thackeray, the opposing parties are highlighting that Raj Thackeray is excusing himself from talking about issues that plague the country today including the inflation and rising prices of petrol-diesel. However, Congress has found a unique way to protest not only MNS but also Modi govt. Sanket Galande, a youth leader of Maharashtra Pradesh Vidyarthi Congress, has expressed his opinion as to why Raj Thackeray did not speak on this issue. An agitation has been organized at Wadgaon Sheri at the petrol pump to protest against the price hike.
The youth congress has put up loudspeakers at petrol pumps and has played past speeches of Prime Minister Modi on petrol and diesel prices. In one of the video from the petrol pump, PM Modi’s voice can be heard talking about petrol and diesel prices going down.
