According to a report by The Times of India, a video of youth showing him trying to mimic the walking style of Union home minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while also using derogatory words against them went viral in Jabalpur. At Omti police station, a case was registered against the youth under relevant sections and he has been arrested.
SPS Baghel, Omti Police station in-charge, said: “A youth identified as Adil Ali had made a video while roaming on road where he is seen copying walking style of home minister Amit Shah and prime minister Narendra Modi. During this, he also used derogatory words against them. After the video went viral a complaint was received against him.”
“Acting on the complaint, a case was registered and Adil Ali was booked under section 153 A (indulging in wanton vilification or attacks upon the religion, race, place of birth, residence, language etc of any particular group or class) and section 294 (using obscene language) and he was arrested,” he was quoted as saying in ToI.
