What Changes For Flyers of Air India As Tatas Take Over??

“Air India has finally said TATA to the govt control. After weeks of delay, India’s flagship airline has finally been handed over to the Tata group. With this, Air India is no longer a govt owned company. Air India is now owned by the TATA Sons group. Before the hand over process was completed, Tata Sons chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The picture of the meeting of both was shared on social media.

Last year in October, the government had sold Air India to Talace Private Limited after a competitive bidding process. Talace Private Limited, is a subsidiary of the Tata Group’s holding company, for Rs 18,000 crore.
