Photos of Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh will be displayed in Delhi government offices, not of leaders: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Before the assembly elections to be held in the five poll-bound states, Arvind Kejriwal has announced that photos of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh will be displayed in Delhi government offices. Photos of political leaders won’t be on display anymore. This announcement of Arvind Kejriwal is being seen as a new election bet before the elections in five states. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Goa, and Punjab will be holding Assembly Elections in the upcoming months. 

Aam Aadmi Party is contesting elections in four out of five states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab. The party has announced its chief ministerial candidates. Bhagwant Mann from Punjab, Colonel (Seni) Ajay Kothiyal from Uttarakhand and Amit Palekar from Goa have been made AAP’s chief ministerial candidates.

Ahead Of Assembly Polls, Arvind Kejriwal Launches ‘Ek Mauka AAP Ko’ Campaign

Ahead of assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party Chief has launched a campaign ‘Ek Mauka AAP Ko,’ in the five poll bound states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa and Manipur. Further he also asked people to support the party. While addressing the press conference, he appealed to the residents of the national capital to make videos capturing development under the AAP regime and urge people of other states to back the party.

“In the last 7 years, the AAP government in Delhi has done remarkable work and this work is discussed all across the globe. Officials from United Nations visited our Mohalla clinics. The former First Lady visited our schools. There is 24X7 electricity in Delhi. We were able to do this because you gave us an opportunity,” Kejriwal said.

He also said that he will treat the one’s whose videos will go viral. He said, “After polls, I will have dinner with 50 Delhiites whose videos will go viral: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.”
