Prime Minister Narendra Modiโ€™s Life Was Deliberately Put In Danger, I Strongly Condemn It: Haryana Chief Minister

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, has accused the Channi government of Prime Minister Narendra Modiโ€™s Security Breach. He blames Punjab Government for endangering Narendra Modiโ€™s life by asking farmer leaders to block the route of his convoy to Ferozepur.

His comments blaming the Punjab government come amid the sting operation of a TV news channel on the breach of the PM Modiโ€™s security, which has shown that how the โ€œSHOโ€ of the relevant Punjab police station telling the channel that he was asked โ€œto block the crowd and roadsโ€ and โ€œhe carried out these instructionsโ€.

As per the Haryana Governmentโ€™s statement, Khattar was quoted as saying that โ€œthe CID (Punjab) had also warned that an alternate route might have to be planned in the wake of bad weather conditionsโ€.

โ€œFar from making any arrangements, the Punjab government gave clear instructions to farmer leaders on how to block the path of the Prime Minister. By doing so, they have put his life in danger,โ€ the Haryana chief minister said in the statement.

Apart from Khattar, stateโ€™s Home Minister Anil Vij too earlier slammed Channi led Punjab Government amid PM Modiโ€™s Security Breach. He too cited a sting operation done by a news channel that showed some Punjab Police officials told the channel that they had informed their superiors about protesters blocking the route of PM Modiโ€™s cavalcade but no action was taken.

โ€œIn the sting operation of a national news channel, it has become clear that there was a CID report warning about bad weather and therefore an arrangement for an alternative route should be made.

โ€œPrime Minister Shri @narendra modi jiโ€™s life was deliberately put in danger, I strongly condemn it,โ€ Khattar said in a tweet in Hindi earlier.

โ€œI strongly condemn that the security of the Prime Minister had been comprised,โ€ he later said in a state governmentโ€™s statement.
