South India feels left out of the decision making: Rahul Gandhi on Wayanad

New Delhi | Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi spoke on selecting Wayanad in Kerala as his second seat for contesting the Lok Sabha elections, to be held from this month.

“South India feels hostility from the PM, they feel they are not being included in the decision making in the country. I want to send a message that I am standing with them”, Gandhi said, on the event of releasing their manifesto for the upcoming elections.

The Congress declared Rahul Gandhi’s candidature from Wayanad on Sunday, along with Amethi from Uttar Pradesh.

He was given option of Bangalore Central, Bidar and Mysore from Karnataka, Kanyakumari and Sivaganga in Tamil Nadu and Wayanad in Kerala.

Wayanad has been a Congress stronghold.
