Patna | Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and RJD Chief Lalu Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav has launched ‘Lalu Rabri Morcha’ ahead of Lok Sabha polls, to be held this month.
This announcement comes amid speculations that there is a rift in the Yadav family regarding ticket distributions.
Last week, Tej Pratap Yadav had stepped down from being the leader of RJD’s student wing.
Addressing a press conference, he claimed that he will contest from all 20 seats that the RJD is contesting from, out of 40 seats in Bihar Lok Sabha.
“We are ready to look at all 20 seats in our own way,” he said.
Clearing doubts, he said that his parents always support his move. He accused that some people were spreading misinformation about the family, creating a feud between him and his elder brother Tejashwi Yadav.
Tej Pratap Yadav said his mother Rabri Devi should contest from the Saran Lok Sabha seat and if not, he would contest from there.
Lok Sabha elections will start in Bihar from April 11, in seven phases. The counting will end on May 23.
