New Delhi | Minister of External and Foreign Affairs, Sushma Swaraj said that India cannot have a dialogue with Pakistan unless it takes actions against the growing terror organisations in their country.
“We do not want to talk on terror, we want action on it. Terror and talk cannot go together. We are ready to engage with Pakistan in an atmosphere free from terror”, said Swaraj, at an event.
“Pakistan never claimed responsibilities for their terrorists like Masood Azhar and Ajmal Kasab, yet in the end, they were always found residing there”, she said in a reference to the 26/11 attack terrorist.
Speaking about the Balakot air strike, she claimed, “No civilian died in the airstrike. We aimed for a limited target, and that no military personnel or a civilian should be hurt”.
She questioned Pakistan on the Balakot retaliation in Kashmir, “The attack was against terror, so why did you retaliate?”
Swaraj also accused Pakistan of funding the terror organisations and giving them a haven to grow.
Speaking on the growing controversy towards Pakistan returning IAF Wing Commander, she said, “Some people say Imran Khan is a statesman, if he is so generous then he should hand over JeM (Jaish-e-Mohammed) chief Masood Azhar to India. Let’s see how generous he is”.
Meanwhile on Wednesday, China blocked bid against Masood Azhar‘s name in the global terrorists by the United Nations for the fourth time.
