The Kerala Police is now also seeking the help of Sangh leaders and Hindu outfits to dissuade Trupti Desai from entering Sabarimala.
Cochin| Activist Trupti Desai said that she will not leave Kerala until she is allowed at the Sabarimala Temple. She said that she will not go back to Maharashtra without the Darshan of Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala. She has been stranded at the Cochin airport for five hours now.
Earlier, Trupti Desai, Founder-President of Bhumata Brigade, had announced that she would try to enter Kerala’s Sabarimala temple on Saturday. Ahead of her arrival, the Kerala police had beefed up the security near the Cochin airport. However, even five hours after landing at the Cochin airport, Desai has been stranded inside as the crowd of protestors is swelling.
Police tried to evacuate us from another gate but protesters were there as well. Protests being held here. Does this mean protesters are scared that we’ll reach #Sabarimala once we reach Nilakkal, or, are they trying to scare us? We won’t return until we have ‘darshan’: T Desai pic.twitter.com/AeevWB5gZu
