The bail plea of Salman Khan will be heard by the sessions court at 10.30 AM today. He spent one night in Jodhpur Central Jail.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s fate will be decided by the sessions court on Friday. The actor who was the main accused in 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, was handed over 5 years of imprisonment sentence along with the fine of rupees 10,000 by the Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Jodhpur on Thursday.
Salman Khan was convicted under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. Soon after the judgement came out, Salman Khan was taken to the Jodhpur Central Jail where he was kept in Ward no. 2 and was given no.106.

The jail also houses other criminals like Asaram Bapu-a godman convicted under sexual harassment and Shambhulal Regar- convicted for killing a Muslim labourer on suspicion of Love Jihad.
Vikram Singh, Jodhpur DIG (Jail) said, “He hasn’t made any demands. We will give him jail uniform tomorrow. Multiple-layer security has been put up for his ward. ”
His bail plea will be heard at 10.30 AM today. Meanwhile, rest of the accused Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan, Neelam and Tabu were acquitted by the court on the basis of benefit of a doubt.
