Mumbai: As the political crisis continues to unveil in Maharashtra, Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief

Uddhav Thackerayโ€™s wife Rashmi Thackeray has been contacting the wives of other MLAs to convince them to speak to their husbands. According to sources, Uddhav Thackeray has also been texting some rebel MLAs who are currently camping in the Bhartiya Janata Party-ruled Assam.

On Saturday, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray held a national executive meeting with Sena leaders, passed resolutions, and moved the Election Commission (EC) to restrict any other political outfit or faction from using the name of โ€œShiv Senaโ€ and its founder late โ€œBalasaheb Thackeray.โ€This resolution coincidentally gets passed on the same day when there were reports of the Eknath Shinde lead rebel camp planning to name their party โ€œBalasaheb Shiv Sena.โ€

The current political turmoil in the state was triggered by Eknath Shinde, who, along with several MLAs, went incommunicado after the MLC poll results. They are currently camping in a hotel in Guwahati. More MLAs, including independents, have joined the rebel camp since then.

287 is the total strength of the Maharashtra Assembly and the majority, in the event of a trust vote, is 144. The ruling coalition of Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress has 169 seats. If the MLAs led by  Eknath Shinde do resign, then the Maharashtra  Vikas Aghadiโ€™s (MVA) strength will fall below the majority mark, leading to the collapse of the Uddhav Thackeray-led government.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena National Spokesperson Sanjay Raut on Sunday tweeted โ€œHow long will you hide in Guwahati? You will have to come back to Chowpatty, โ€œalong with an image of Maharashtra Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, who has served notices to 16 rebel MLAs on the Sena disqualification plea.

YouTube Takes Down Singer Sidhu Moosewala Last Song SYL, Was Trending At #1

Aleesha Sam

Punjab: SYL, a song on Punjabโ€™s water crisis that was Sidhu Moose Walaโ€™s postmortem release, has been removed from YouTube. The Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal is referred to by the acronym SYL. For more than three decades, Punjab and Haryana have been at odds over the 214-kilometer-long Satluj Yamuna Link canal.

The new song was published on YouTube on Friday, June 23, by music producer MXRCI. It was written and recorded by Sidhu Moose Wala before he was fatally shot in May. The warning that appears when you click on the link now reads, โ€œThis content is not available on this country domain owing to a legal complaint from the government,โ€ and the video is no longer accessible.

The song has received 3.3 million likes and more than 27 million views on the video streaming service since its release.

The music video includes images of various militants, including Balwinder Singh Jatana, who was allegedly a member of the pro-Khalistan Babbar Khalsa and was charged with the July 23, 1990, murders of Chief Engineer M.L. Sikri and Superintendent Engineer A.S. Aulakh at the SYL office in Chandigarh.

While Haryana has been pushing for the construction of the canal in order to receive its portion of the water from the Ravi-Beas river, Punjab has been asking a reevaluation of its share.

Sidhu Moose Wala, a singer and politician, was shot and killed in Punjabโ€™s Mansa district on May 29. A day after the state government reduced Sidhu Moose Walaโ€™s security protection, he was shot and killed. He was traveling in a jeep with his cousin and a friend, both of whom were hurt in the incident.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang was allegedly responsible for the crime, which the Punjab police described as an instance of inter-gang rivalry. The Bishnoi gang member Goldy Brar, who resides in Canada, took responsibility for the murder.

A special investigative team (SIT) led by the head of the anti-gangster task force had been formed by the Punjab Police to look into the murder (AGTF). The Delhi Police just detained the murderโ€™s two primary shooters. Priyavrat Fauji (26) and Kashish have been named as the shooters (24). Additional weapons and explosives have been found by the police.
