After Shivpal Yadav, SP Ally OP Rajbhar Backs NDA Presidential Candidate Draupadi Murmu

Mr. Rajbhar said he also attended a dinner party hosted by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath where Drupadi Murmu said he should support them if his goal is to fight for the weak.

Days after SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s uncle and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party supremo Shivpal Yadav announced his support for NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murumu, now the Samajwadi Party (SP) ally and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) leader Om Prakash Rajbhar declared his party will back NDA’s presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu.

Mr. Rajbhar said Union  Home Minister Amit Shah asked him to support Murmu in the upcoming Polls.

Mr. Rajbhar said he also attended a dinner party hosted by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath where Drupadi Murmu said he should support them if his goal is to fight for the weak.

Mr. Rajbhar further said, the SBSP has been fighting for the underprivileged and exploited sections of society for the last 20 years and that he met with his party MLAs to discuss the matter.

Earlier Ms. Mayawati’s BSP also declared its support for the NDA candidate.

On Thursday late evening The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha announced its support for Draupadi Mumu after party chief Shibu Soren issued a letter on the same.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also extended his support on Tuesday.

Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, Trinamool Congress Party, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India-Marxist, Samajwadi Party, National Conference, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Rashtriya Janata Dal, and All India United Democratic Front are the parties backing  Mr.Yashwant Sinha.
