A political controversy has erupted over BJP-led Centre’s new ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ , opposition says don’t divert people’s attention.
Mumbai: The new “Har Ghar Tiranga” movement at the centre of the BJP-led administration has sparked a political debate, with the opposition claiming that the government is using the movement to deflect attention from important issues.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited people to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative by hoisting or displaying the tricolour at home between August 13 and August 15. PM Modi said that this movement will “deepen our connect” with the national flag.
“This year, when we are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. Hoist the Tricolour or display it in your homes between 13th and 15th August,” he tweeted.
