Congress says “game plan to do in Jharkhand what they did in Maharashtra”, BJP says money with MLAs is proof of corruption in Jharkhand government.
Mumbai: Following the arrest of three Jharkhand-based Congress members in Bengal with “a significant sum” of cash in their vehicle, the party attempted to tie the arrests to the BJP by claiming that the three leaders had been paid to bring down the state government. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress alliance administration, according to the BJP, is corrupt, as shown by the money.
Irfan Ansari from Jamtara, Rajesh Kachhap from Khijri, and Naman Bixal Kongari from Kolebira, three MLAs who were being questioned by the Howrah Rural police regarding the origin of the money, have not yet responded. Officials stated note-counting devices will be required to determine the precise amount.
“The BJP will always try to topple any administration that isn’t their own. The Jharkhand Congress’ working president, Bandhu Tirkey, said that the same had been done to the government of CM Hemant Soren. “The only purpose for giving the MLAs money is to bring down the government,”
Jairam Ramesh, the national communications director for the Congress, tweeted that “the BJP’s ‘Operation Lotus’ in Jharkhand stands exposed tonight in Howrah.”
“Hum Do’s game plan is to install the E-D pair in Jharkhand, just like they did in Maharashtra,” he said. After Uddhav Thackeray was ousted by a Shiv Sena dissident group supported by the BJP, Maharashtra’s government recently underwent a transition. In the overthrown government, the Congress and NCP worked together.
Aditya Sahu, general secretary of the Jharkhand BJP, countered that the money is evidence of corruption by the JMM and Congress. “Since they took office, corruption has increased. They use tax dollars for other things, “He told the ANI news agency.

Senior Bengali BJP leader Dilip Ghosh connected the Howrah protest to the “probe into corruption” in Jharkhand.
1.2 Recently, Congress has been opposing CBI, ED! Corrupt parties like Congress, Trinamool are trying to escape from crime by opposing the investigating agencies. ED's investigation against corruption has already started in Jharkhand.

The Trinamool Congress, the leading party in Bengal, tweeted about “murmurs of horse-trading and the possible collapse of the Jharkhand administration” even before the parties in Jharkhand responded. Some government officials in Mamata Banerjee’s party questioned the Enforcement Directorate (ED), wondering if action would be taken against individuals who aren’t Trinamool members after being recently hurt by large sums of money linked to the party’s detained leader Partha Chatterjee in a job fraud.
Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister and leader of the Trinamool party, recently charged that the BJP was attempting to impose a change of government in Jharkhand following the recent shift in Maharashtra. The BJP did not respond in a particular way to that.
Dilip Ghosh, however, seemed to dismiss the claims against the ED and Jharkhand in a tweet he posted today, writing: “Corrupt parties like Congress and Trinamool are trying to escape from crime by opposing the investigating institutions.”
