WATCH: NIA Team Recreates Crime Scene Near Ambani’s Residence, Sachin Vaze Made To Wear Clothes Seen In CCTV

Earlier, the NIA said that in CCTV footage, Sachin Vaze was seen covering his head with a large handkerchief so that no one could identify him.

Mumbai| The NIA investigation is on to solve the mystery of a Scorpio car full of explosives outside Antilia, Mukesh Ambani’s residence in Mumbai. The NIA, which is investigating the Antilia case, recreated the crime scene on Friday night at the site of the incident. The NIA team also took suspended police officer Sachin Vaze, where the crime scene was recreated on the basis of CCTV footage.

News agency ANI has released some pictures of it. According to the agency, suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze was dressed in a large kurta and taken to the same place where the Scorpio car was recovered with the explosives. At the same time, a large police number of police personnel were deployed outside Mukesh Ambani’s house. Sachin Vaze was asked to walk wearing the same over-sized kurta as he was allegedly seen in the CCTV footage.

Earlier, the NIA said that in CCTV footage, Sachin Vaze was seen covering his head with a large handkerchief so that no one could identify him. He wore an over-sized kurta-pajama to conceal his identity. The agency stated that it was not a PPE kit. This was done so that no one could identify his body language.

Investigators claimed on Friday that CCTV footage showed that a meeting between Vaze and Hiren took place on February 17 and that the Scorpio car was ‘stolen’ from businessman Mansukh on the same day. Hiren was found dead on March 5 near a creek in Thane.
