BJP Summons Sushil Modi To Delhi, Rajnath Singh To Oversee Bihar Government Formation

BJP is making Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister as promised. But it is not in a mood to compromise in the formation of the Bihar cabinet.

 

Patna| Bihar Assembly Election has concluded. The NDA is certain to return to power by winning the most seats. Now preparations for government formation have started in the state. BJP, which became the largest party in the NDA, is making Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister as promised. But the BJP is not in a mood to compromise in the formation of the cabinet. The BJP high command has called Sushil Modi to Delhi on Friday to discuss the formation of a new government in Bihar. According to sources, the party has entrusted the responsibility of the election of the leader of the BJP Legislature Party to the Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Rajnath Singh will be present in Patna on November 15 and will elect the Legislature Party leader as an observer.

According to experts, the BJP is giving Nitish Kumar the chief minister’s post but wants to take a place in the cabinet according to its strength. The BJP will also claim several important departments which used to be with the JDU. Sushil Modi has been summoned to Delhi to discuss all aspects. He will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party national president JP Nadda in Delhi on Saturday. The BJP’s role in the government will be decided in this meeting itself.

NDA Legislature Party meeting to be held on November 15

A joint meeting of the NDA Legislature Party will be held on Sunday, November 15. In which Nitish Kumar will be chosen as the leader of the alliance. The decision was taken on Friday at the NDA meeting in Bihar. An informal meeting of the NDA was held at the residence of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in which the leaders of the four coalition parties, BJP (JDU), Hum, VIP (VIP) participated. After the meeting, JDU president Nitish Kumar told reporters, “The meeting will start on Sunday, November 15 at 12.30 pm and a decision will be taken in it.” Nitish Kumar said, “These formalities have to be completed before the formation of the new government. The cabinet recommendations will be submitted to the Governor and then further steps will be taken for the formation of the new government.”
