Bihar Election 2020

PM Modi Invokes Kashmir In Bihar, Avoids Mentioning Chirag Paswan

PM Modi said, “These people (Opposition) are saying that if they come to power, Article 370 will be implemented again.”

Patna| Prime Minister Narendra Modi started campaigning in Bihar from today. The first rally was held in Sasaram. Here he paid tribute to RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan but refrained from naming his son Chirag Paswan who has been attacking JDU and Nitish Kumar. Significantly, Chirag had described himself as Modi’s Hanuman.

Why did PM Modi choose to ignore Chirag Paswan?

1. Modi named Ram Vilas Paswan because a large vote bank has been associated with Paswan and his party. Modi does not want to offend his supporters.

2. The Prime Minister did not name Chirag. The reason for this may be that the election results can go either way, so they do not want to annoy them by speaking something against Chirag. Recently Chirag also said that he does not need to put pictures of Modi in his campaign. He said that he is Hanuman and Prime Minister Modi resides in my heart.

Kashmir makes an entry in Bihar

Inaugurating his first public meeting in Sasaram, Modi said, “Bihar has lost its two sons. I pay tribute to Ram Vilas Paswan. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh ji is also not with us.”

Here he also raised the issue of Kashmir. He said, “These people (Opposition) are saying that if they come to power, Article 370 will be implemented again. They are daring to seek votes from the people of Bihar even after saying this. Is this not the insult to the people of Bihar? ”

PM Targets RJD, UPA

Referring to Lalu’s tenure and the UPA government at the centre, Modi said, “You had given them power with confidence, but they made it a source of income. When evicted from power, poison-filled them. While in UPA government for 10 years, he got angry on Bihar. These people are going to block and deviate every scheme of Bihar. During his rule for 15 years, he looted Bihar.”
