Breaking: Rahul Gandhi files nomination from Wayanad

Breaking: Rahul Gandhi today filed documents to contest the national election from Kerala’s Wayanad.. He landed there by a helicopter this morning, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and later he headed to the district collector’s office. The Congress announced last weekend that its chief would contest from this hilly region of kerala in addition to his strong hold Amethi constituency.. A massive crowd of kerala workers reached at kozikode airport last night to give a grand welcome to the Congress chief. Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who reached there shortly after his brother arrived. Now according to political experts, Rahul Gandhi’s decision to choose Wayanad, happens to be a wise decision by the congress party, as the region shares border with both Karnataka and Tamil nadu. so in a way it represents 3 southern states. Wayanad will vote on April 23 and Amethi on May 6. And its final result will be on May 23rd. The party has won the Wayanad constituency twice since it came into existence after delimitation. Rahul Gandhi’s decision drew a flak from the BJP which said that Rahul is going to Wayanad because he is afraid to face Smriti Irani in Amethi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi talking in Wardha said that congress party who termed hindus as terrorists is afraid of the Hindu anger and thus rahul gandhi is contesting from Wayanad which is dominated by Minority. The Congress president was requested by both Karnataka Congress and Kerala Congress to contest from their states. However, after deliberations, Congress decided that Wayanad is a smart choice for Rahul Gandhi. #RahulGandhiWayanad #RahulTharangam #Kerala #loksabhaelection2019 #rahul gandhi
