Indira Nooyi to step down as Pepsico Ceo after 12 years

Washington | World’s leading beverage giant Pepsico on Monday announced the departure of Indira Nooyi as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after been holding the position from last years.

Nooyi will be replaced by Ramon Laguarta who is currently the President of the Board of Directors in Pepsico. In an issued statement, Indira Nooyi said, “Growing up in India, I never imagined I’d have the opportunity to lead such an extraordinary company. Pepsico meanwhile clarified that the rest of PepsiCo’s senior leadership team will remain unchanged with the departure of Nooyi.
