Kamala Harris Scared Of Trump’s Possible Return To The White House

US Vice President Kamala Harris said she was “scared as heck” that former President Donald Trump will win the presidency again in 2024 following the former leader’s resounding victory in Iowa’s first Republican caucus.

On Wednesday, Harris spoke about the worries former President Obama and his spouse, Michelle Obama, expressed regarding Trump’s potential victory. “I am scared as heck, which is why I’m traveling to our country… we should all be scared,” she replied when asked about the outcomes if Trump ever became president again. “There is an old saying that there are only two ways to run for office, either without an opponent or scared. So on all of those points, yes, we should all be scared, but as we know, and certainly, this is a table of very powerful women, we don’t run away from something when we’re scared. We fight back against it,” Harris added.

‘We have to earn the re-elect,’ says Kamala Harris. The 59-year-old Harris urged Democrats to “fight back,” stressing that she and President Joe Biden had to prove them deserving of reelection.

“We have to earn the re-elect and communicate what we have achieved,” she said. “And that is going to be one of our big challenges. We’ve done a lot of good work; we have to let people know who brings it to them.”

Since Trump is facing 91 criminal indictments, Biden has stepped up his direct criticism of the twice-impeached former president, claiming that he represents a threat to US democracy. Harris has been taking the stage in the president’s reelection campaign, emphasising energising Black, female, and youth voters for the 2024 race.
