Bengaluru: Amid Language Row, Pro-Kannada Groupsโ€™ Protest Turn Violent

Escalating language tensions in Bengaluru led to violent protests by pro-Kannada groups on Wednesday. The protestors are demanding the immediate enforcement of a directive from the cityโ€™s civic body, mandating that all businesses display 60% of their signage in Kannada. These protests took place in different parts of the city, including the Kempegowda International Airport.
