ED Raids Firms Linked To Sharad Pawar’s Grand-Nephew

Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at the premises of Baramati Agro. The firm is linked to NCP MLA Rohit Pawar – grandnephew of NCP founder Sharad Pawar) along with five other individuals. The raid is connected with a money laundering case involving the Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) scam. The agency said the Kannad SSK Mill was sold to Baramati Agro Pvt Ltd for Rs 50 crore. The ED’s money laundering case is based on the Mumbai police FIR in the MSCB scam.
