On Friday, Karnataka CM, Siddaramaiah announced there would be no restrictions on hijab (head scarf) in educational institutions in Karnataka. He claimed it was to give everyone the freedom to wear and eat. In response, BJP chief Vijayendra Yediyurappa alleged he was “promoting dividing young minds along religious lines”.
