Minor Dies In Ganga As Family Forced Dip To Cure Blood Cancer

In Haridwar, Uttarakhand, a five-year-old kid who was critically ill died due to superstition and the hope for a miracle. The boy’s parents thought that the Ganga River would heal him from blood cancer. The kid drowned in the freezing river during the harsh northern Indian winter. Police said the attempt to extend his life ultimately proved fatal.
