Taking a dig at US President Joe Biden on Friday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the former was elected because “everyone just wanted less drama”.
“Biden’s mistake is that he thinks he was elected to transform the country, but actually everyone just wanted less drama,” the richest man in the world wrote on Twitter, the microblogging platform which he is in the process of acquiring.
Musk also voices his opinion about the former President Donald Trump and said he thinks a “less divisive candidate” will be better than Trump in 2024 Election.
“Even though I think a less divisive candidate would be better in 2024, I still think Trump should be restored to Twitter,” Musk said in a tweet.
Musk has batted for restoration of Trump’s account even earlier. Speaking at the Financial Times Future of the Car conference, Elon Musk said that he would reverse Twitter’s ban on the former US President.
Following the Capitol riots that took place on January 6 last year, Donald Trump was banned on Twitter. Using his tweets and posts on other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, Trump allegedly encouraged rioters to take part in the violent storming of the US Capitol.
